Weapon 01Close / mid

P228

A 13-round sidearm with stronger armor performance than the starter pistols.

The P228 bridges starter pistols and the Desert Eagle. Its 32 base damage and 62.5% armored-damage ratio reward deliberate taps, but the steep 20% falloff every 500 units keeps it out of true long-range duels.

  • Accurate pistol taps
  • Mid-range eco rounds
  • Low-cost sidearm upgrade

Percentage-based range retention applies once per 500 game units. Penetration count is the maximum penetration stages passed to the CS 1.6 bullet simulation; material and thickness still determine whether a shot exits a surface.

Core techniques

  1. 01

    Let accuracy reset

Fire single taps with a short pause; trigger spam throws away the P228's reliable first shot.

  2. 02

    Use the magazine

Thirteen rounds leave more room for a second opponent than the Deagle, so avoid reloading after every duel.

How to counter it

Stretch the duel

The 0.80 range modifier strips damage quickly as distance grows.

Force rapid fire

Pressure the shooter into repeated shots, where pistol inaccuracy matters more than base damage.
